I started a job without realizing it was the place my old fwb worked, anyway I start work – he’s there, I hear him telling his mate I’m “that chick” not caring because he’s the past, I think I’m legitimately fine working in the same company as him as much as I thought it would be challenging when I first knew he was there. It’s not. I get on with work, and chat to people that are not in his circle. I’ve met his dad, who is kind, he also works at this place and I know it’s his dad as my work mate told me! I do wonder how many people he’s already told and feel like I’m getting the side eye now and again, I know he obviously has already told one of his work mates. Gosh men are so horrid why couldn’t you just ignore me, and we both act like strangers. Meanwhile I’m eyeing up all the other must I say “hot” workers, not that I’m there for long but hey a girl can look. Anyway here’s to new beginnings! Cheers.
