My first kiss was with a guy I met online. We talked for about three months and we really wanted to meet. I met up with him on a busy square. He was totally fat and didn’t look like his pictures at all, so I was really disappointed. I told him I had to go home and he said okay. But before I did he kissed me sloppily and omfg he tasted like bananas. I went to my cousin’s home and told her all about it. I can never not think of it whenever I eat bananas. You’re not superficial. I’m so damn sick and tired of people saying that because someone isn’t going to bang someone that’s overweight or has brown hair or whatever, that they’re superficial. You’re attracted to what you’re attracted to and there’s not a damn reason why you should date someone that you aren’t physically attracted to.
Think about it this way: this guy is the superficial one. Not only did he completely lie about himself, but he did so because he wanted to pick a specific sort of girl. He likely chose you because you’re beautiful or at least someone that would normally be out of his league. If he wasn’t superficial, then why did he lie about his appearance? Oh, and don’t even get me started on him forcing himself on you like that. Honey, that’s sexual assault and you could have had his ass thrown in jail for that- and deservedly so. He knew he lied to you, that you weren’t remotely attracted to him, and he still decided to force his will upon you. You were damn smart to meet in a public place. This guy has “rapist” written all over him. If you still have his contact information and you were talking to him on an Internet site, let the website know because this sort of stuff isn’t kosher and they have blocks and bans especially for situations like this.
Bottom line: you are not superficial. You like what you like. Don’t let ANYONE make you feel bad for that.
