I am still so in love with you.

I know we’re “just friends”… but it’s killing me. I don’t want to be your friend; I want to be with you. Why don’t you understand how hard it is for me to be around you? I’m sorry if you’ve thought I was mad at you… or that I was avoiding you… and maybe I was. But it’s only because I can’t be near you without wanting to hold you… and every time I make eye contact with you it’s like I have to look away. God, you are just so beautiful. I don’t think I’m ever going to not think that. And I’m sorry that things got weird with us, and I know you’re trying to smooth it over and be friends… but I just don’t know if I can. I am still in love with you. Even after how much you’ve hurt me, I still love you. And it scares me so much.
