I’m a professional mountaineer. Healthy Slash Wealthy people pay me to climb mountains and be a part of their crew. At the 8000 meter mark you only have access to 33% oxygen compared to Sea Level. Mt Everest is almost 8900 meters for reference (less than 30% oxygen levels). I’ve been doing this for 15 years and summited mountains all over Asia continent.
For all the people on here talking about wanting to harm yourself or life is over you shouldn’t be like that. I seen some of the best views the world has to offer and been up past the clouds. The world is truly majestic.
If you are born in a first world country you should find a way to transition your life towards getting a remote job that pays a good wage for your country with a high cost of living. Then take that job and go to places where the cost of living is much lower. I recommend Indonesia or the Philippines to be honest. You can rent a house with a ground side pool for about $500 USD a month.
Heck many wealthy Chinese families look for Native Speaking English adults to teach their kids that language and you can 100% do it remotely and live in a SE Asia Country so you are in a similar timezone. You can work part time hours and live better over there than you do over there then use the rest of your time to explore this majestic world. I do what I love for a living. If I can inspire even one person to do the same then I done my job with this post.
