I love to sing. Like, love-love it. Passionately. Alot of people have even told me that I have a great voice. I have participated in a lot of singing contests/etc since my childhood and won a lot of accolades for it, too. I was even selected along with a few other kids of different schools to participate in a musical show on tv but had to leave it soon after cuz it was affecting my studies. I was one of the two best singers in my school and I also used to take classes for it until I shifted to a different country where I stopped because it wasn’t really a popular activity in my school and not that encouraged either so I ultimately stopped singing and due to not having a really good health and constant nose-congestion (idk why yet) my voice quality degraded too.. but still, sometimes when i really feel like doing it, I try to record song covers at home but i couldn’t sing as well as i used to.. i can’t take it up as a career cuz my family and i myself are pretty conservative. I just hate that everytime i try to record something, my family doesn’t support me and even makes fun of me but then my dad taunts me if we ever watch a kind of a musical program on tv or something where kids sing better than me. I believe i could do better with some encouragement and practice but since i can’t, it really hurts when they make fun of me even when they can’t support me..
