I love my sister, I’m 14 years older than her and wasn’t around very much because our parents split. She lives in the other side of the country and last time I was out that way a few years ago I went out of my way to visit her. All she told me was that she was embarrassed of me and didn’t want people to know I was her brother. It eats away at me, I sent her a Christmas card last year but heard nothing in reply. I honestly wish I knew what I did to deserve being shunned.
