I have emotionally abusive parents. No matter what I do, they only taunt me and keep pointing out my mistakes. I keep trying to build to my confidence and they keep shattering it.
Yes i’ve made mistakes in my life, but I’m almost 20 now and i’ve worked hard to get over those mistakes. I top class and i’ve recently started a fashion blog which is taking off really well but they just don’t care. I keep working my a** off to impress them but it’s useless.
For the past 4-5 months i’ve also tried to be the person they expect me to be, just to earn their attention,but no.
All they see as their own child is my younger brother, who’s a spoilt liar who gets his things the way he wants, whereas I need to keep bending and accepting.
I hate I couldn’t talk to anyone so I confessed here.
