Tonight I went to karaoke with my girlfriend. I sing horribly and I know it but I sing alone so no one has to be humiliated by my awful singing. As I start to sing my first song of the night my girlfriend drags her cousin on stage to sing with me because she feels bad that I’m singing crappy by myself. I try and wave her back to her seat because I’d rather fail on my own than take her and her cousin down with me in flames. She doesn’t listen at all and then sings with me.

After the song we sit down and she turns to me pissed off that I tried to wave her away because it humiliated her. She goes on stage because my bad singing embarrasses her and is pissed that I could even try and wave her away. She’s pissed at me for humiliating me. What the f***?
