When I was younger I was having an argument with my best friend and it reached the point where we were basically name calling. I started saying that she never bathed and stank, but while I was yelling I realised she may respond by calling me fat which I was. So in order to not let her say it I intentionally burst into tears and said that I didn’t mean anything I said and that I didn’t want to lose her as a friend. She started crying too and we vowed to never argue again. We are still friends now years later but she still doesn’t know the real reason why I stopped the argument.
