My grandfather died today. Everyone is crying, everyone is upset, and I don’t feel sad. I don’t feel much of anything about it. My mom told me we were going to travel to get to his funeral, and my first thought was that I’m going to have to miss camp. My parents want to stay a few extra days. They asked me if it was ok, they said of course being with my family is more important to me than camp. I’d rather go to camp. I’m awful.
