I’m a complete sociopath. I didn’t realize it until earlier this year, when we started discussing the topic in the psychology class I’m taking. Now that I know the term, however, it makes sense. I guess I first noticed something about me was different when someone said “When you do something bad, it makes you feel icky inside, right?” I think it was my third grade teacher. I nodded and smiled as if I knew exactly what she meant.

Recently I’ve been entertaining myself with a “friend” who has idolized me for years. She looked up to me like a young boy would to superman, and I had her wrapped around my finger. As we’ve both gotten older, however, she’s grown a bit and my grip on her loosened. It’s a fun game to see how far I can go with her…I’ve been using her for so long and she doesn’t even know it! She always forgives me- it’s hilarious! I’m getting cocky, though, and need to be a tad more careful. Finding a new toy will take way too long, and she’s useful right now. I want to know how much I can get out of her.
