I hate my job, so I found a new job. It’s hard to find a job because I have a misdemeanor (not convicted). I’m a nurse, and my misdemeanor was for shoplifting like 3 years ago.. I can’t get it expunged yet. So it always pops up on my background check. Then places don’t want to hire me. My current job isn’t even really nursing… I get paid 23 bucks an hour to underwrite for an insurance company for life insurance. That’s not nursing, it’s f****** people out of insurance. I hate myself but I’d hate to not be able to pay my bills more.
This new job, they basically told me that I s*** but hired me anyway because I interviewed well. I have the background check soon, and I am so afraid I’ll fail it again although they already gave me (and I signed) the offer letter and had me fill out my w-4 and all that s***. The really worst part is that this job, pays a lot better, but I’ll hate this too. I just hate to work. I am one lazy son of a b****. But I am compassionate and I do love to help people, and I want to make people feel better. What better role to do that than a nurse? But I struggle getting out of bed in the morning, and most people in the world, when helped, b**** about a minor thing that didn’t go their way rather than thank you for sacrificing yourself to help them. F*** people, and f*** you who would be reading this, because chances are you’re an ungrateful little s*** who will end up bitter and dying in a nursing home….. but then there are people like me who will show up to wipe your a** and feed you, and you’ll just b**** some more. I should have just majored in business. I could have, in all actuality, become an excellent lawyer. Anything but this. Talk about making horrible life choices and getting yourself 30,000 bucks into debt over it.
