Most disturbing moment of my life, maybe 10 years ago. I love my mom and she is really a good person and quite normal now.
My mom is bipolar and was having a manic, insane episode for most of the year. She was drinking like crazy and smoking a ton of dope. She would come to pick me up from girl guides or friend’s houses or drive our friends home HAMMERED. I didn’t understand if something was wrong with her. One day she cooked my family dinner then went to bed…I went into the kitchen to get food and there was a notebook open,she had written “I’m sorry I tried bi-s**. I was just so tired of begging you for s**.” I didn’t read further. she had gotten drunk, written that to dad and stumbled off to bed without putting it away. All of my family saw it that night after I did. They made disgusted sounds when they silently read it like I had. I remember she went into the kitchen later and gasped and took it to her room quickly. The look of humiliation and horror on her face I’m…so mad I had to see it 🙁 I am disgusted and bothered she accidentally left it there… I was 12
