Graz.
I know that you’re married now with a beautiful child, but I know as well as you that there was something between us. The prolonged stares, our legs always finding each other and resting together under tables and that time that you stroked me from the nape of my neck to the bottom of my back for no discernable reason. I’m writing this because I never had the guts to tell you to your face and I guess that I never will, if you find this then know that my words have no less substance or value just because they never escaped from my mouth.
I love you, I love your laugh and the fact you reserve a special smile just for me. I remember the time you called me late at night and had to whisper to stop him from hearing, your voice sounded so s***, just the way you wanted it to, that was the same night that I realised I was head over heels in love with you. Ever since that day I’ve been in constant pain and turmoil, fake smiles and hugs when I found out you were engaged and tears and despair when I heard someone use your new surname.
Regardless of what happens, you can always be confident in the knowledge that I love you unconditionally and what I’ve written here is the truth, you are so beautiful that you make my words redundant.
I love you so much.
