i know you all may hate me for saying this but heterophobia and cisphobia are real?? it isnt as bad and i know that but it’s certainly there. the lgbt+ movement is about equality, right? but there some of them go again talking about how every hetero/cishet is the scum of the earth and that they all need to die. but if a hetero or cishet just says they dont agree with something, the whole world explodes and they’re called homophobes. i fully support lgbt+ and i myself am currently questioning (i think i may be bi), but some of them need to chill, you know?

  • I’m with you man. I support gay marriage, gay adoption, all that. I believe there are legitimately transgender people. I DON’T think you should allow children to transition. I don’t think the word cisgender should even exist, since being intersex occurs at such a low base rate that we don’t really need a word to denote what 98+% of the population is. It would be like having a word for non-amputees. Apparently these statements mean I also hate gay people, and no matter how much I say I support equal rights people like you and I won’t be heard because the fringes are screaming and trying to make sure anyone who disagrees with them is completely ostracized.

    • Intersex is something entirely different to transsexual/transgender. Also you do have a word for non-amputees. It’s non-amputees. You can put a hyphen in cis-gender if it makes you feel better.

  • Heterophobia does exist. It’s not talked about often. At least for me, I never hear any news about it.

  • ignorant shit like this annoys me. yes, ANYONE can hate ANYONE. “heterophobia” does technically exist. but its not a problem. its not even worth regarding. you’re never going to get lynched or assaulted for being hetero or cis, while gays and trans don’t have that luxury.

    • In this country where are these lynchings of trans people happening? Can we speak honestly and not resort to hyperbole?

      • I don’t know what country you’re from, Norway? If you think trans people aren’t attacked every week in almost every country in the world, you must be living in a cave.
