When I was a kid I remember my great grandma always had her hair up in a tight bun. She took the bun out to brush her hair once in the morning and once before bed. She would always run the brush through her hair exactly one hundred times.

I never knew why she did this. When I got older I thought she might have had OCD. Although, my mother bought my sister and I a movie called A Little Princess. In it, there was a girl that had to brush her hair one hundred times as well.

After the video I assumed It was a thing and I was right. I once saw my mother watching the BBC channel, and a Victorian woman was counting while brushing her hair.I know it’s a silly trivial thing, but I now wish I had asked great grandma why she did it, along with many other things I never asked her.
