I moved to another country last year. In 2010 I broke up with a girl who meant a lot to me but she had severe trust issues and was always looking for a reason to accuse me of cheating. The last straw was when a friend died and his sister called me. My now ex swore I was screwing this girl.

Because we went to high school together, we know lots of the same people. One of her friends is a friend of mine on Facebook. I told her that if she ever talks to my now ex so say she “scared me so much I fled the country.” She did. I send her a picture of when I was living in San Marino next to a sign (inside Italy) before moving where I am now.

I’m really just doing my church missions, but my ex feels mighty in that from what others tell me she really does believe that she ran me out of the country! I like letting people have a victory here and there.
