Our son had invited me up to his college to attend a football game. I was at his dorm while his other college friends were showing up. One of his friends showed up and told them the sad news about his date had to cancel.So he didn’t have a date that evening . My son replied hey my mom doesn’t have a date either. In a laughing tone we caught you covered. Seemed harmless and I replied sure why not? Off we went to dinner and the game. My new friend was a complete gentleman.
