You are correct that everyone is plain mean.

There is a basic defect in humans which causes them to blame everyone else around them. That’s why your family hates you. It’s one of the most common postings on this and other sites.

It’s odd that if you try to achieve, like start a business, that your family will laugh at you and tell you that you are an idiot for even thinking about it. They will say that it will fail. They will get in your way and do everything possible to make sure that you don’t succeed.

If you do succeed then these same people will show up demanding their “fair share” of your profits, while claiming that it was their support, encouragement and effort that lead to your success.

That’s how humans operate.
