a murder occurred in my home county. a teenage girl went missing when i was really young, and there was a missing person’s poster by the local plaza. a big banner, right by a McDonald’s. she was found a few years ago i think, 2020. her body was found in a creek not even a few miles from my house. the missing person’s banner is gone. it’s been replaced by an ad for the McDonald’s . when i was young, i didn’t realize it was a missing person’s poster. i remember realizing it one day. to think her body was on a property i passed by on my way to school, that so many people passed by.
