My brother and his wife are the atypical straight laced Catholic Conservative types, and his kids are the most out of control, unruly, disrespectful, just plain BAD kids I have ever seen in my life. Especially the middle one. They live out of state so we always do an early Christmas with them every year, and every year they get worse and more out of control. I inevitably have to leave early because I cannot take it anymore, and they refuse to use any kind of discipline with them or control. I was the out of control unruly one in my family growing up, and as such I have kept myself at a far distance as I know he wouldn’t me influencing their lives. Doesn’t seem to matter though as they are all off the rails and I’m sure only going to get worse. Teenage years are going to be utter hell for them. I feel sorry for them but at the same time this is exactly what happens when you let your kids run wild and do whatever they want without every disciplining them. Buckle up guys. If I have to keep my child completely removed from them forever that is exactly what I will do. Just awful.
