Rich? Overpriced instruments?

First of all, I bet you are so ugly, not a single person in world would believe you were raped. Which is probably the only way you could ever get laid.

Secondly, rich? You don’t need to be rich to buy a quality instrument. Which I would not call overpriced either. Quality is the word.

When I bought my Gibson Les Paul in early 2008 (which was actually stamped, serial number, Nov 6 2007) it was around Valentine’s day 2008. I was feeling low, it was about 3 years since the woman I thought I loved spoke to me. I was slaving my a** off at a job for $14/hr trying to make myself somewhat attractive, fixing myself, trying to get her back. Trying really hard. Really hard. She was a stone wall though. I could not get through to her. I could not break her, I was clearly trying to unloser myself, really trying and succeeding, but she was not giving. It was very discouraging to me.

So around Valentine’s day 2008, I had gotten back into guitar roughly a year prior as a way to deal with this serious mental pain I was going through over this woman and everything else. Fixing myself. I was feeling low, trying, getting nothing, absolutely nothing but s*** on.

So I woke up ome day and I said “you know what? I want a Les Paul Studio. I am not a beginner, it’s not like I will buy the guitar, play it half assed for 2 weeks then throw it in a closet never to touch it again. I deserve a quality instrument. I went down to the local dealership, which was guaranteed to have a Gibson Les Paul Studio on the wall. At least one. Sure enough, I saw the one, and I threw down some money on it. The total after tax was $1475 with an included Gibson hardshell case. I probably threw down $300 or $400 initially on layaway. It took me probably 3 months to pay it off. Not rich. Just wanting a quality instrument. I deserved it too. I was also qualified for it. I was good enough.

So yeah. That was the best guitar I ever owned up until that point, and the best since too. I have bought less expensive since, I only have 2 guitars currently, the other guitar was $400.

Get a new b and do it yourself. Ya know? I could say that and it is easy enough, it really is, but I would bet the problem is you are a f****** weirdo. A defiant weirdo who nobody would hire because of this. You’re gay, or trans, or you have a thousand piercings or tattoos, ugly rainbow colored hair, extremely leftist, you’re a weirdo.

So change it. Change all that s***, fix yourself and get a job and you too can buy an “overpriced instrument”.
