My mom and aunt didn’t die from COVID but just like so many others figured it was overplayed or not real and I’m a registered nurse who worked closely with it, so I always tried to get them to take it seriously but they refused and ended up finally getting it.
Both of them are over 70, my aunt has uncontrolled diabetes, my mom was pretty healthy but they both got severe COVID pneumonia, my aunts blood sugar was so high it was considered critical and they both ended up in the hospital for a week or so and now a year later they’re dealing with long COVID and have lost most of their hair (especially my mom) and my mom they healthier of the two is still on oxygen and can barely move around due to wide spread pain. My aunts diabetes is still all over the place and she’s so exhausted she can’t even feed herself most of the time.
And my mom she still says things like “vaccines are meant to kill old folks off”, of “masks don’t work” 🙄
She never wore a mask and got sick, I wear them all day everyday for work and when I’m public and which one of us got sick and which one has net despite being around it constantly? 🤔
No one is trying to kill anyone, there is no conspiracy, and COVID shouldn’t be political in any way but if you’re hell bent on not wearing a mask or being vaccinated, just don’t expect me to feel sorry for you when your time comes and trust be it will eventually come!
