My dad used to tell me not to shave my “area” because he would find out and I wouldn’t be “his little girl” anymore. Little did I know at the time that he actually would find out because he was watching me when I showered like a creepy teenage peeping Tom. I got a beating the first time and that’s when I figured out what he did. The abuse only got worse from there.
