So nice to see your post about circumcision. I agree. All boys should get a radical, thorough, meticulous, tight circumcision, no exceptions. It should be required by law.

The frenulum should be completely removed. A scrupulous circumcision always includes frenulum ablation, since little boys frequently abuse the frenulum. The frenulum can be excoriated by cutting it out or burning it out by Cauterization with a hot iron. Either way works well. Often both methods are used in conjunction. The physician cuts out the frenulum and then cauterizes the area to control bleeding and assure complete removal.

A thorough circumcision should be rigorous and detailed. Physicians should put more time into the procedure, including discussing it with the mother beforehand. There are various styles that can be shown to the mother so she can select the cut she wants.

If circumcision was mandated by law then perhaps physicians would be more meticulous in performing the procedure. The boy can be circumcised at any age. The benefit of doing it at birth is that the boy is already in the proper hospital setting and he won’t need to come back. Infants provide the least material for a physician to work with, making more difficult to get the desired style.

Older boys 10 to 12 provide more material to work with assuring a better cut with the desired style and a diligent, intensive procedure. The older boy can more fully appreciate the experience and savor it. It should be done before puberty or at the first sign of of behavior problems with compulsive, addictive m***********. Age 10 to 12 seems best although boys are reaching puberty a little early now. The mother can observe her son to watch for the appearance of pubic hair and have him circumcised before the full onset of puberty. The key is that the mother must be steadfast in assuring the boy is taken to a physician for circumcision.

I agree that teens are the third best choice for the time to do it. Preferably at younger teenage years like 13 rather than older like 16. However, it must be done even if the boy is in the late teens.

There is no need to discuss the boy’s rights, as he has none. Mandating circumcision by law would make that clear. The frivolous debate against circumcision was started by ‘gays’ who had a fetish for sucking on foreskin and thus wanted little boys to be uncircumcised. Their thought was selfish and ignored the well being of the boys.

There are many medical benefits to circumcision. It has been performed for over a thousand years, and on millions and millions of boys with great success. It has the best track record of any medical procedure.

It yields better health, proactively avoids disease, improves behavior avoiding addiction, and looks so much better. It is inexpensive and can be done in a brief time depending on the boy and circumstances.
