I think it’s really stupid to ostracize someone for getting an achievement you think you deserved more. Look, I don’t care for the achievement. I never wanted it. I wouldn’t have voted for myself if I had the option. Why can’t I be happy about it without having to constantly put myself down and be like, “No, no, darling, you totally deserved it more and I’m terrible at my job.”? It doesn’t mean you’re doing a worse job than I am. It just means that my hard work paid off. Maybe yours will too someday.
