This is true. I guess some people just get spoiled when there are always people randomly giving them free $ too because they feel they deserve it and like them. It’s hard to see a view like that when it’s never existed for you. I had a very successful career and can/will return when I work hard to get it, not a moment sooner, and certainly not because people who know nothing about what they’re talking about will it. I’m a peculiar creature. I quit my graduate program because my long term boyfriend was bragging about me taking care of him. And now I’ll wait for someone to accept me as I am before doing what of course I could have all along, but didn’t want to, because then you really don’t know how devoted a certain person really is to you, hence you basically gave them what they wanted, passing up the chance just to see who accepts you that way. It’s all about what do you want to be loved for really.
