You can’t blow someone off or replace them, and then think things are just like they always were, you made a choice doing what you did. Pavlov’s dog would not go back and push a lever they pushed and nothing came out, and neither will that person return to get the same disappointment. Pavlov’s dog will especially remember when he saw the biggest treat ever, but then it didn’t come out, and what a disappointment it was. Game over. That dog went to find a place that gave him something, and so will your person.
