The last person they hired was SO BAD at her job I had to pretty much do everything for her. This new woman is actually competent. She’s not as good as me, but she’s good. I’m so glad to see they’re paying her $20/hr. She should probably be making $25/hr but at least they’re not lowballing her into poverty. About three weeks after they decided to hire her, they asked me if she was any good. I told them essentially that they should offer her an excellent wage or someone else will. She’s that good. You guys NEED her, is what I told them. And lo and behold- $20/hr. Funny, though, I consult for the same work and I charge them $75/hr. I guess I’m considered the ‘big guns’. Yeah, well that last chick fucked up your books royally, so it took the big guns to fix it. The new woman is excellent at maintaining the books now that I got them to a good starting point.
