Have gotten myself into a real predicament, not that I was blind to the possie consequences. Have been lover to my wife’s stepmother for several weeks now on days I am her in home caretaker. Wife has been constantly talking about how apprecciative she is that i am doing this for her stepmom and how happy her stepmom seems to be to have “a man around the house again”. Like really constantly talking about it and stressing the point but not in a negative way at all. A few mentions would be one thing but she keeps bringing it up but my wife also seems really happy and almost excited about it and encouraging me to do so as much as possible since I am able to work on a casual basis. So am a little paranoid but also weirded out. And as if that was not enough have gotten a text from one of the regular in home caretakers suggesting that she thinks we “need to have a face to face sitdown” about my step MIL, but also said that she thinks it would be better as a one on one convo. And since there has been no change in her physical or mental health at all, am pretty nervous about what she wants to talk about. Not trying to delude myself but with my wife she is being so attentive loving and affectionate and even s** with wife has been a serious increase. And with the regular caretaker I can only think of one reason that she thinks the sit down talk should be one on one,
