Perry Kalynuk was not a good principal. He created a toxic work environment where s***** harassment was allowed to flourish. In fact, he was buddy buddy with the popular teacher who s******* harassed a female co-teacher outside a bar one night near the Incheon Bus Station. This popular teacher (loved by Perry) who s******* harassed this shy female teacher, was the grandson of a famous rabbi from Winnipeg (a famous Rabbi who died in 2009).
That night Perry’s buddy buddy teacher tried to force this female teacher to admit that she was a virgin infront of the other teachers. He made her feel that being a virgin was something to be ashamed of. He tried to force her to admit her s** history, infront of the other teachers, even though she told him that it was none of their business.
Because of what Perry’s buddy did, Manitoba is no longer accrediting foreign schools with its curriculum.
The Manitoba government is afraid of more allegations in regards to s***** harassment at accredited schools abroad.
Meanwhile, Perry’s buddy buddy allegedly continues to have a good job teaching at a Manitoba affiliated school.
Had Perry known about the s** harassment, he would have taken his buddy’s side and not the side of the female teacher being harassed. Fortunately, Manitoba Education has taken the female teacher’s side 🙂
Perry did not support teachers who were struggling. And put a teacher down when she needed to be brought up. This teacher that he put down was the same female teacher who was s******* harassed by Perry’s buddy buddy (Rabbi Louis B’s grandson). For example, he compared her to a teacher who was more popular and told her “the only difference between you and Melissa is that she knows how to sell herself.” Real principals don’t compare teachers like this or put down teachers for being too shy. Real principals point out a teacher’s good qualities and have the teacher work with those good qualities to become a better teacher.
When Perry saw that the school secretary was abusing her powers to dump unnecessary work on a teacher who was about to get fired, (who had already been paid out and was to be out the door with all the other teachers after 12) he did nothing to stop this secretary from abusing her powers.
Perry pandered to people and was looking out for his own self-interests.
After Perry fired this female teacher just before Xmas, while putting her down in the process, (over stupid things like “being too shy”) he told her that it was none of her business who the new teacher taking over her job would be.
Then, when this same teacher arrived back in her home country, he gave the replacement teacher, the fired teacher’s PRIVATE email address. He did this WITHOUT ASKING PERMISSION from the fired teacher first. He told the replacement teacher that the she could reach out to the fired teacher for help.
The fired teacher didn’t realize what a horrible principal Perry was, until she began working at REAL schools with REAL principals who SUPPORTED teachers and showed COMPASSION AND CONCERN FOR new teachers.
Principals who made sure her work environment was FREE of s***** harassment and showed concern for her when she was struggling.
Perry had a negative effect on one person’s and she wants the world to know about who he really was.
