Siren is the embodiment of obsessive tendencies and projections..he only gives her such a name because he believes in this entity that he created and that she is barring him from bliss and happiness. Siren is a well chosen moniker..a mermaid that leads men to peril. It makes him feel powerless over his future and paradoxically more accepting of it. It’s easier to believe that than to feel defeated, lost, and without a desire to propel him forward.
