I’m not an anti vaxer, I’ve had my first shot, going to find a clinic tomorrow for my second BUT

The truth is, the only one you are protecting by taking the vaccine is yourself. It makes no difference to everyone else around you, you are still a threat to them, especially if they are unvaccinated. You can still carry it around and spread it around just the same as if you weren’t vaccinated. You being vaccinated doesn’t mean anything to everyone else. That’s why it makes no sense to make it mandatory. I was told today I can’t go to a certain place for work without being fully vaccinated, with proof. Fine, but honestly, it doesn’t make any sense. It’s up to individuals dealing with me to protect themselves, not me to protect them. I can’t.

I used to think that way to. I figured get vaxed, and then if I catch the virus it’ll dissolve and die as if my blood is acid. I won’t need to wear a mask. Not true. No different than if you are not vaccinated, you just won’t die. Probably not. I won’t. I probably wouldn’t die unvaccinated anyway. Close, but no.
