I’m appalled that my boss is writing so many emails considering her dad died yesterday. Be with your family for goodness sake! I should be happy that she trying to make the department run as smoothly as possible, but somehow I am disgusted by it. When my dad died nothing but family came first for me.

  • Don’t assume you know everything about everyone. Maybe her dad was a total garbage. Maybe he was neglective or abusive. Maybe she’s still in shock. Maybe he wasn’t even her real dad and many many more maybes … It’s not your business anyways. It’s her dad. She doesn’t owe anyone grievings. Even if she hated her dad and he was a loving one she still has the right to feel and behave in whatever way she wants.

  • I hated my parents, both of them with a vengeance and I’ve done everything in my life to repay the emotional and brutal way they brought me up – children should be seen, but not heard.
Not everyone has loving parents, but if you were one of the fortunate ones, more power to you.
I am the last of my line, which goes back to 1066 and said to be, 2nd in Command of William The Conqueror’s forces (Man of Oak)- because of my parents and me thus, not wanting kids of my own.
I brought up 5 Step Children over 2 marriages and according to social media 3 of the 5 have since died, although I loved them all and would wish no ill upon any of them.
My 2 step sons took my name as their own, after their mother moved on and took them away from me, however, the last remaining son, might have died himself, so nobody to carry my name on, afterall and none “of my blood”.
    Best Wishes…….
