i grew up in LA and can somewhat agree with this at least for the bottom half of cali. and no just give it back to the natives if were not going to be using it
It would be pretty fucked up to destroy the land and then give it back without any help in fixing it. I agree they should get it back but there should be some agreement to offer assistance if necessary.
I mostly agree but it would be unkind to cede complete disaster region to homeless people. Let the natives have it. They have thousands of years of knowing how to cope with the challenges.
