I used to think real life was exactly like the movies, now I just wish it was. It f****** should be, the films are so much more interesting than reality. What an injustice that life isn’t like that. That we can’t get shot and that stand up 5 minutes later because we’re the f****** hero. It screwed me up a lot as a kid that kind of thinking. There should be a support group for people who want/believe that real life is just like the films.
