I once betrayed my wife, and confessed. It nearly destroyed the relationship but she stuck with me. She asked if it had ever happened before and I said no… which was a lie, as there had been another minor betrayal a short time before. I buried the lie from fear of losing her. Now years later I am overwhelmed with guilt and unsure whether to confess. We have kids now and I am so scared of losing my whole family.
