The movie Total Recall (1990) featured custom-built prop cars, including unique “hover cars” and the iconic Johnnycabs. The hover cars were built on top of other vehicles, and the Johnnycabs were also custom-designed futuristic vehicles, some of which were based on modified Robert Riley Trimuter three-wheelers. A few of these unique vehicles, such as a custom taxi and a Johnnycab prop, have appeared in memorabilia auctions.
