i made a shipping account for my school. it was meant to be a joke, at first, everything was fine, and everyone was laughing, but around like 2 days five other variations of my account popped up, with names like [school name]ships (mine was like a nickname for my school then ships), [boys school]_[school name]ships, thebetter[original shipping account user], [school name]guesswho, [school name]dissyr8. the first one also did dissing videos as well as very vague descriptions and seemed like a rip-off version of my account, and they dissed several people as well as shipped them. the second one shipped boys from a nearby boys school with people from our school, the third had just one very weird looking video (it was still a shipping one, but it was executed very badly), the fourth had “guess who”s, and you had to guess who they were, and the last one did duos and had one dissing video, but took it down. now, someone reported all the accounts because of the first account, [school name]ships. they put up a dissing video to that cancelled song by larray and apparently some people took offence and reported it. now the year coordinator and the dean of our school (we’re a private anglican school who’s strict), and now they’re going to file some commissioner report about this and if the e-commissioner takes action, they’re going to contact tiktok and find out who i am. i didn’t even post anything mean, just requests of ships with descriptions (that wasn’t bad, it was mostly like “tall-ish, wolfcut, plays piano and double bass, used to wear glass, has a mac, etc.). i don’t think this counts as bullying or harassment, as i did add in the description that this was a joke, and if they asked i would’ve taken the videos down. the year coordinator and dean had a talk with our year, and now all except for the [school name]dissyr8 account is deleted, including mine. if they manage to file a report and they approve it and contact tiktok, my identity will be revealed and i will be punished. so far they managed to catch two people who ran the account, and they had to sit in someone’s office all day and write some reflection in their diary, if they find out i was the one who started all this (this sounds really cliche but) my life will be ruined. hopefully the e-commissioner people has more urgent cases, and tiktok doesn’t see this as an urgent or serious request, and won’t send out my data. i also didn’t use a vpn and another device, so they have my ip and device name, model, type, etc. what should i do, i don’t think there’s anything i can do but im really scared. they’ve also questioned a bunch of people, including me, and i lied to them, but i slipped up three times, if i was them i would’ve found myself suspicious but hopefully they just see me as nervous and not having anything to do with this.
