I was put in a bad position by a friend’s ex and I have to meet them in order to set me back straight. My friend disliked that, lied to me about the urgency of her feelings on this matter but called her new boyfriend to talk to me. He basically told me it’s wrong to meet a good friend’s ex and that I should think about my friend more….but I had to meet them in order to be rid of an unavoidable situation and get out of a debt to the ex. Her new boyfriend didn’t listen to a single word I said, but decided to brand me as a bad friend. Only after, my friend comes to tell me themselves about their true concerns, after I was humiliated. Was I really in the wrong?
