I was actually s******* harassed by a popular teacher at ***************School (as it was called back then). This incident occurred years ago when the school was in its infancy. The teacher in question went out to a bar with a bunch of other teachers that night. I was one of the people who was with him that night. While, intoxicated, he started making inappropriate s***** comments to me. He tried to get me to admit my s***** history infront of the other teachers. He kept pushing me to admit my s** history even though I told him that it was none of his fn business.

He didn’t s******* harass me on campus. But he would always speak to me in a demeaning way. Not overtly. He just sort of talked down to me. The school did not have policies protecting teachers from s***** harassment back then. Since this popular teacher was buddy buddy with the inept principal Perry Kalynuk at the time, he could do what he wanted to. S***** harassment policies are something every international accredited MB school should have. Thanks to me, they now do.

It should also be noted that after I left the school, the principal Perry Kalynuk, without my permission, gave my private email to the new teacher taking my place. He told her that she could email me for help. This was after telling me that I didn’t even know how to sell myself, putting me down for being “too shy” and telling me about all the mistakes that I had made as a teacher.

In fact when I asked the then principal who would be taking my place, he told me “that’s none of your business.” But once I arrived back in YVR, he went and told the new teacher that she could email me whenever she wanted to. I know this because I received the CC’d email that he sent to her and in it, he directly posted in his email to her, my PRIVATE email address with the comment “Here is Jangmi’s email. You can email her for anything about the class” Can you believe the nerve of this man?
