I’m 38, my husband and I have been married for 16 years with no children. He had an affair in September so in Mid-November we decided to separate. After separating I moved in with one of my girlfriends. She has a steady boyfriend so the first of December when they were going out to a private club they invited me. I hesitated but decided I needed to move forward so I went. Once there we ate then had a few drinks. When the band started playing an attractive younger guy asked me to dance and I accepted. We hit it off so when he asked if he could give me a call sometime I gave him my number. The next week he called inviting me to take a drive with him on Saturday so I said sure. We drove out in the country to a beautiful area where his family owned some land then went hiking. When we returned to the car we had a kiss which led to more serious making out then having s**. Afterwards we had a nice drive home saying we would like to see each other again. The next week he came over and the three of us had dinner at my friend’s place where I was staying. A week later my husband called wanting to talk to which I agreed. We spent most of an afternoon talking then decided to try to work things out. I had my girlfriend tell the guy and I moved back home the week between Christmas and New Year. My period was due the Monday after Christmas but it never came so I’m now 10 days late. I haven’t taken a pregnancy test but I sure I am. There’s also not much doubt who’s it is because my husband and I didn’t do anything until New Years Eve when I was already 5 days late. At this point I probably just need to be honest and see what my husband wants to do. If he wants me to abort it I’ll have a decision to make since I’ve always wanted a child.
