I love my girlfriend more than anything in this world, but I also have very strong feelings for a close friend of mine. Luckily, she doesn’t feel the same way about me, nor is she even attracted to me in the slightest. I secretly wish she shared my feelings, but I don’t know what would happen if she did. I want to spend the rest of my life with the woman I’m with, but I’ve had a crush on this girl for the entire decade I’ve known her, and I fear it’s never going to fade.
