My dad had terminal cancer so didn’t want to burden him. Then after he passed away, I didn’t want to tell my mother because she was grieving. Then my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Keeping one of most wonderful parts of my life a secret hurts so much but I couldn’t live with myself if my mother died hating me.
