Sadly, I feel your pain. There was this woman I loved unconditionally, but she was married, albeit unhappily. There was nothing I could do though. She kept that ring, and I accepted it. It took over a year, and me walking out of our friendship. Her and I are going through a separation, but we both express a desire to get back as friends. I promise you it’s not impossible to move on.
