Recently, I’ve begun stealing and wanting to steal things.
It started off with three small gem rocks from a museum gift shop, then a ring and some cheap fossils/gems at a cave. And early tonight, I stole two pins from a clothing store. I don’t know why I started doing it but lately wherever I am, I get an urge to steal.
I was at a Walmart and even through I could clearly see the security cameras, i kept wanting to just grab a packet of patches and a container of fabric paint and try to steal them. It’s been the same at Chapters. I’ll be holding some books when the thought of going to the washroom and hiding them in my bag then walking out of the store starts to take a hold of me. It happens on a lot of other stores as well.
In the moment, I don’t feel guilty or ashamed, it’s only afterwards. But I continue to steal small cheap items or consider stealing more expensive ones. I’m scared to tell someone in case they report me to the police but I’m worried that I’ll eventually do something really stupid and be taken to jail.
