I like to get out of silly situations. The worst part is forgetting I said something and saying something different later. I try to stop, but sometimes saying something else is easier.
Hang in there. Admitting you ave a problem is always the first step to recovery.
Of course confrontations are never fun, and I’m terrified of them myself, but it has to be done. I’ve had yet to do something about it, so let’s both work on this.
Good luck to you.
Start out by telling little truths. Then get the hang of being more honest. Until you can be honest with yourself and find a way to kick the habit of lying, there’s no way you’ll be able to come clean without being tempted to lie.
