I slept with a man many times who has been with his girlfriend for almost 10 years. He was perfect, and I loved him, even though I didn’t think he was very remarkable the first time we met. He was Irish and we drank alot together, and after getting under-the-table drunk one night we had sloppy drunk s** and he came inside me without protection, his first time doing that with anyone. I secretly (and passively) wanted to let things happen, he was the peanut butter to my jelly and I knew any kid we made together would have been awesome and well rounded. He had his reasons of course and bought me a morning after pill the next day. A few nights later I had a dream about the kid we would have had, all grown up. He was big and friendly, I spent some time getting to know him. At the end of the dream he hugged me and said “Thank you mom” before disappearing for forever.
I sometimes wish I had thrown out that pill.
