That can happen with many people. I have a friends with whom I can speak for hours or spend time with for hours. I dont love him as I would love a lover (I am a gay man), but as a friends.
I also experienced that with another guy. Mrk (he is gay) and I could spend hours together even if nothing was being discussed. We appeared so comfortable that very often people around us would become magnetized and offer us things like the paper, or even candy… I could not understand what was going on, but I knew. It was clear that we had very strong emotions going between us. Unfortunately he is married to a woman that refuses to allow our friendship or side affair. I have a partner who accepts our relation and has no problems with me being Mrk’s friend. I helped Mrk come out and we read numerous books together to help him accept himself as a gay man. A few weeks ago he told me that because his wife threatened to divorce him if we continued our friendship that it was better we stop being friends and seeing each other. I has been very difficult, but I am surviving. I just hope he is also strong and I keep praying to my gods that he is able to convince his wife that we pose no threat to her marriage.
There are many people with whom you can spend hours together without feeling the smallest discomfort and enjoying every minute of it. I have met a few people like that.
You can tell that you love someone in in addition you feel a certain excitement in your soul when you are with them.
