I am a really mean person to an officemate. Right now, they are looking for a missing company document (purchase request). I know it is in my drawer, because I forgot to pass it on to the next signatory. I have already logged it in my logbook before I forgot about it. When the disbursing officer asked me about it, I saw it in my logbook therefore saving me from any responsibility of losing it. I feel bad about it because one coworker is being blamed (she was blamed because she always loses documents, so it’s not surprising if she lost this one too.) I feel bad. I want to put the document somewhere someone might see. Like it was just an accident, like someone might just left it there and forgot it. Like it was just inserted there by accident. I hope I can do it. I really do feel bad. 🙁
